Acid

A chemical with a pH value lower than 7, which is normally corrosive to common metals like iron, zinc and aluminium.
Acids are generally divided into two classes:
(a) strong mineral acids, also called inorganic acids, such as sulphuric or hydrochloric
(b) weak natural acids, also called organic acids, such as fatty or citric
